The Right To Remain Vocal

You might be asking yourself:

"Self, why does this old(ish) man keep coming back here every day to write a musings column?"

Are you asking yourself that?

And if so, I got an answer for you.

In the form of a question:

Why not?

I do that a lot, you know.

I ask a question when asked a question.

Another tip.

You are not obligated to answer questions.

People think so.

I'm just being polite.

Meh.

Polite can be cruel.

Both ways.

Also, you can also pretend no speaky Engrish.

But you might have to have the right avatar for that.

And so I'm using my right.

To muse.

Amuse myself.

Maybe one or two others out there.

Thank you, check's in the mail.

I write because there are universes where I cannot.

I write because I should not be here.

I write because I am still am.

And what takes a lickin'.

Keeps on musin'.

See ya.

Wouldn't want to be ya.

[The author sings in a cappella (this is two words?!?) for an uncomfortably long time in an amateurish tone at best but does so with staggering confidence. A song he makes up the lyrics to as he goes. He pauses at times searching for words in his brain. Increasing his volume every time he resumes. "AND IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEIIIIIIIIII!"]
