Save The World
🎵 "We are the world.
"We are the children." 🎶
When you're a beginner, you want to get right to the heart of the matter.
You have no chill.
Just jumping to conclusions.
Leaping to them.
When you should just chill.
This is a frame that applies to most everything in life.
And it will serve you well if you heed.
If you heed.
Chill.
Relax.
Patience.
You want the steak dinner, you got to have salad first.
Maybe some bread.
Soup.
A tasty beverage.
Small talk.
What are you talking about? You only eat steak!
Grandmaster can break all rules.
That's why he make rules.
For the exceptions.
One of the wisest boxing instructors I learned from talked about rhythm.
How important it is.
And how you have to learn it.
How you have to master it.
1-2-3.
1-2-3.
1-2-3.
Art is dance.
It's martial dancing, really.
And, how you spend years learning the rhythmic patterns.
But, and this is a big but as far as buts are concerned, you only become a true master when you learn to break rhythm.
Mastery by learning the basics, perfecting them, and then interweaving the exact opposite techniques.
1-3-2.
3-1-2.
8-6-7-5-3-0-9.
You break the dance.
You know who's unpredictable?
Who never had rhythm?
The beginner.
The noob.
I always thought that kind of funny.
You spend years mastering something.
Having it down to a science.
But then, having become a bit too predictable, you have to sort of channel your inner noob.
To go back to the beginning.
Where it all started.
To truly get to the heart of the master.

🎵 "Save the world
We never wanted.
We never wanted
To save the world.
We never wanted
To have to save ourselves." 🎶
🎸
No masters here, though.
Only grands.
Pianos that is.
That I tickle in my mind.
Tickle in my mind.
Tee hee.
Tee hee.
But I repeat myself.
Save yourself.
Save the world.
But I repeat myself.
