Alright.

I admit it.

I've seen those videos where someone will test the generosity of a person.

Ask 'em for a dollar or something.

Get rejected a hundred times.

Find one who gleefully gives it.

Person filming takes it.

Walks away.

Comes back dramatically.

Gives the money back.

And then gifts them an iPhone.

Or something.

The tears flow.

Trumpets blare.

But here's the weird part.

A lot of these videos don't end there.

They don't end at the elation of ecosystems.

You would think you cut it here.

But no.

The giver then says something like, "If you could tell the world one thing, what would you say?"

And I always think, what a terrible thing to ask someone.

Right on the spot.

Right then and there.

Off the top of their elated inflated heads.

So I've been giving out a lot of dollars lately.

No, you haven't.

To anyone who asks, really.

Stop lying.

Not in hopes of getting a dollar free iPhone.

We call that a fringe benefit.
