A Perfect Circle
Here's what I want you to do.
Right now.
Take some Japanese Korean chalk and draw a circle on the ground.
No, this ain't some weird thing.
But it kinda is.
It kinda is.
Work with me.
Draw a big circle.
Done?
Ok, now say to yourself, "This is my circle."
Inside it, put everything you value.
Now, say, "Everything in this circle, I will defend with my life."
Hopefully, you remove some things from the circle.
Maybe add a thing or two.
I dunno, it's your circle.
Two things I hope you notice:
1. Not a lot of stuff in that circle.
2. You're in the circle.
So what's in the circle?
More importantly, who's in there?
I see a few things you're missing.
And I think a few things that should get the boot.
You know what and who I'm talking about.
You know.
C'mon.
Defend with your life!?
Really?
Really??
That thing/person [trying to sound specific but really being vague to appeal to mass(ish) audience]?
Alright, alright.
Your circle.
©️
Do with it as you please.
No.
Don't do that.
Do this:
Build a keep around this circle.
This is your soul.
And by golly, we are protecting this mother with all our might.
As you grow, you add moats and make them wider and wider around the keep.
Build cannons and towers and sheet.
Over time, things can earn entrance into the circle.
And, sadly, things should leave.
I cannot tell you how sacred this circle is.
It's about as holy as you'll make it.
But really?
That?
That makes the inner orbis??
Ah well.
At least you made it.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.
