Teacher Called Humble Pie
I wish I could convince you how lucky you are.
To be on the ground floor of the Maslow heirarchy.
Or at least, to have that floor satisfied.
Air to breathe.
Water to drink.
Food to eat.
Roof over head.
The ability to get a good night's sleep.
There's a line that goes "If you don't have your health, you don't have anything."
And that line has been on my mind of late.
I'm able to write, perhaps not nearly at my best (such as it was), but here I sits and types.
How lucky.
If I could, I would tell you more.
But privacy is privacy for a reason.
On the days and times I feel well enough, I will muster up a musing.
But until then, remember this:
What good is hitting the pinnacle of Actualization if you're struggling on the first floor?
So today's lesson is, to have everything, you have to first have your health.
First principles.
Life teaches the greatest lessons.
And I am learning every single second.
