Before answering...

You can see the gears turning...

I've known idiots who consider this low wattage.

But they're idiots for a reason.

Idiots.

Idiots respond so fast they cut the question off.

They think it's smart to do so.

But it's not.

It's the opposite.

Idiots.

So anyways, I'm going to start pausing when I answer now.

You have to do it almost to the point of discomfort.

The pause that is.

Stone faced.

Eyes distant.

You own those seconds.

Then wait a little bit longer.

Wait too long.

Then, and only then, answer.

Ideally, you'd do so with a poignant response.

Well thought out and pre-reasoned.

Several iterations inside your head.

But this is the ideal.

Not necessary.

The necessary part is to look like you're doing it.
