How many times can you stand up there and say the same thing over and over again?

Repetition is the key to excellence.

I get that.

But how many times must you get up and say the same crap, over and over?

And who can do that?

Who can have a hit song and still love to play it 50 years after its release?

I suppose the grateful can.

And the ones who like to hear themselves talk.

When I say the same thing over and over, it bores even me.

And if you're bored...

I've been called an AL of All Trades.

Master of none.

But I think that's telling.

I really get into a subject.

Like to listen to folks who chirp about it daily.

But at a point, I'm like:

This is the same sheet with different words and analogies.

Sometimes the same words and analogies.

Over and over.

How do they do that?

How do they grow?

How do they get better?

And what if they're wrong?

They're just so certain about it.

And they're still much better than the dude hawking a different thing every year.
