September And Everything After

Time's so interesting.

How interesting is it?

I'll look back at something I thought I've had for years and we bought it in March.

Our "newest" ride has now been with us for almost a decade.

Feels like five years.

Six max.

You might say that's close enough.

But it's not.

It flew.

And sometimes it doesn't.

It lounges.

I like to say "I can't remember my life before..."

And I mean this life.

Now, of course I can.

I can remember it.

But I cannot feel it.

Not the same way.

Not like I used to.

I know I did it.

I know I lived it.

But it just feels like a memory.

Like a first person perspective movie.

Just something I watched happen.

Or played through.

Where am I going with this?

Who knows.

Who ever knows.

Sometimes, I rhyme slow.

Sometimes, I rhyme quick.

🎤

Time rhymes.

Some of the time.

And I know poetry doesn't have to.

But I sure do love it when it does.

You didn't rhyme.

Do.

Ok, it's time.

To decades in seconds.

And the longest hours.

And everything after.
