Oh no, he got on his silver robes.

I was going to write about making holistic bets.

But I didn't, so I didn't.

This isn't a musings column about gambling, so I figured it might confuse people.

Stick to your brand!

I don't mean bets in a typical gambling sense.

More a life sense.

For example, how are you going to meet the love of your life, if you don't have the guts to even say hello?

And will you have the guts to leave them, if and when you know you picked wrong?

The largest wagers in your life aren't monetary.

The stakes are far higher.

And they are staggeringly asymmetric.

Staggeringly holistic.

Pick the right friends, vocation, loves and the world is your medium-rare steak.

Pick the wrong ones...

Wooh boy.

Something vegan.

Easy for me to say, you say.

Yes, I suppose it is.

Much harder to live it.

Do you live it?

And so, young(ish) hopper of grass, I leave you today with a few things.

First, a telepathic slap to the head.

Pay attention.

True currency is energy and time.

Spend both like a pincher of dimes.

Is reading this thing everyday a good use of either?

Ah who knows.

I just think of these things as I float through the universe.

Sitting indian-style (can we still say that?) and hovering in mid-air.

Catching flies with chopsticks like it ain't nothing.

Like it ain't nothing.
