More Than One Bruce

Boy, I think I'm running out of things to say.

When I was a kid, I'd stay up at night and listen to the radio.

Now, a lot of the times it was to listen to music.

But then I found a dude who would spend all night giving advice to people.

On all sorts of things from money, business, to general life advice.

His name was Bruce Williams.

He had this deep, resonant, voice and it had a little New York City tint to it, so I was hooked.

Bruce was honest, helpful, and rarely sugar coated anything.

And during a time I was searching for answers (this happens from time to time, you see), I found a mentor on the airwaves.

All of that to say Bruce has passed on.

His last show was in 2013 (by then a podcast); he retired at the young age of 81.

Passed away a few years after.

I had long ago stopped listening, I am learning all of this in retrospect.

For some beautiful people have archived his stuff online.

And I just recently found him again on YouTube.

So I've been sitting here in my little time machine.

Being a kid again.

Listening and learning.

From the wisdom of a master.

Raising a glass of Coke Zero (on ice) to late, great, BW.

"Hello, Des Moines, Iowa!"

There's only one Bruce Williams.

And I miss ya, good sir.
