I'm Not Saying It Was Aliens

Can I be a little crass?

I mean, more than usual?

Why we looking for Earhart's plane still?

That sheet went down eons ago.

Or was snatched by aliens.

I guess I just don't get it.

Who's footing the bill for the Earhart plane search?

Now I suppose if its family, well, then Godspeed.

Search for the plane all you want.

Get some closure.

But if it's like people who are still trying to crack the DB Cooper case.

Let it go.

Like Frozen.

Dan jumped out a plane with some cash and made it.

Or didn't.

Or got snatched up by aliens.

Of course, I say all this with cheek in tongue.

I don't really care what mystery you trying to solve.

It just seems like a weird win.

"We found the plane!"

Yay!

"We found Dan!"

Sorta.

But what did I say in one of these here musings?

You don't live life for others.

Be a weird winner.

You wanna find old skeletons of aviation devices and the folks who jumped from them?

Well by all means.

We can't all solve the meaning of life.

Can we?

And are these sleuths showing us the a way?

I don't know.

I'm busy.

Although, since we're sleuthing.

Whatever happened to all those missing boxes in Tesla's hotel room?

Seems like they would have some good reading in there.

And I don't need to tell you how much an old(ish) curmudgeon loves a good story.
