Are you a "me" or "we" person?

Meaning, do you put yourself first or others?

Are you a solo artist or a part of an ensemble?

Folks usually align one of these two ways.

I'd say it's pretty gendered but it's just not always so.

Me folks focus on the self.

We folks focus on others.

Why?

Me folks want to improve themselves.

We folks want to improve others.

So here's the weird thing about this.

If you are a me folk, start focusing on the we.

If you are a we folk, start focusing on the me.

There is no better way to self-improve than to help other people.

And there is no better way to help other people than to take care of yourself first.

If you want to improve, help.

If you want to help, improve.
