Emotion versus logic.

These two sometimes fight.

You get too emotional, no logic makes sense.

Can't reason with extreme emotions.

Like talking to water or fire.

And you can't emotionally appeal to the heart of logic.

It either is or isn't.

There are no extenuating (spelled that one without the cursed red line appearing - first try - boom) circumstances.

No exceptions.

How much we depend on either when making a choice in life really will tell us a lot about how we live it.

Are we mostly emotionally driven?

Or are we logically?

Sometimes, following your heart will lead to your downfall.

Sometimes, following your logic will lead to a boring existence.

But it works the other way, too.

Follow your heart to find true love.

Follow your logic to make wise decisions.

Like most things, I'm somewhere on the spectrum.

After all, following your heart makes for the best stories.

Following your logic, however, makes you able to live to muse about them.

Fire, water, and the ground beneath your feet.
