Capital i Looks Like Lowercase L
One of the most profitable gimmicks to come along in a bit is the predictions markets.
Betting on today's high in local weather.
Seriously.
And it turns out, one of the very best ones sort of faked their success.
Or at least, the success of its users.
A fake it till you make it situation.
And it got me to thinking.
Uh oh.
If gambling sites have to fake it to make it, what does that mean?
Gambling it would seem would be the least necessary to do anything other than say "Give us money, we'll give you odds."
If you have to fake a winning, even though you're legit, what the heck is going on?
And you know what I came up with?
I don't know if it's a logical conclusion but here it is.
Everything is marketing.
Even bad news.
Even controversy.
Pay the fine and move on.
Bigger than ever.
Worth it.
And also, everyone is selling you something.
Even the free sample person at a warehouse store.
That sheet is free with a string.
Even your friends and fam.
"If you join as a distributor, you get an even bigger discount!"
It doesn't mean selling is a bad thing, which I suppose I sometimes still believe.
My idea of selling is to just be me (sometimes turned to 11) and let people ask to buy.
If you get me, you get it.
No understand me, no understand it.
No big whoop.
But that is selling.
Because we always are.
Except me.
I ain't selling sheet.
NFS.
...
But just out of curiosity, what are we talking here?
💰💰💰
Pass.
