Autumnal
You would think, I think, that I wouldn't forget to do something I do (almost) everyday.
But I do.
I forget.
In my defense, I thought I already wrote today.
But I guess I didn't.
Hey, it happens.
I've been thinking a lot.
As much as I do.
About things that used to be made better.
It never was an outright topic, but it's been coming up in my brain.
Vehicles.
I don't want a touch screen to turn on the heat.
Baseball cards.
Vintage and 90s parallels.
Video games.
You used to be able to own them in physical form.
I don't know if it's nostalgic me.
Autumn does that you know.
Wakes up nostalgic me.
I'm up, I'm up!
I suppose I never sound older then when I talk about the good old days.
And the truth is, as good as they were, I love now more than ever.
More than yesterdays.
This whole evolution thing is a lot for an old(ish) man.
Cars drive themselves.
Kinda cool.
Big bucks are entrenched in cardboard.
It's an alternative asset class!!!
And every dang thing is a subscription or freemium.
You can play for free, but if you want to be cool, you have to pay.
A lot.
Did you know that they used to sell audiobooks on CD?
What's a CD? Cowboys wide receiver?
Ahh, football season.
They give these college kids millions now!
Over the table instead of under!
NIL.
I think I got a couple years eligibility left.
Go deep!

Tee hee, works every time.
Arm does feel pretty good, though.
